Psychedelic, hippie homecoming fun from CSU’s counterculture years
1967: The Bitter End Band at Homecoming.
1966: Homecoming Queen Sharon Kloeb was, at the time, a freshman at Columbus College. She also was a member of the Newman Club and chosen to run for Miss Sentry.
1971: Students showing school spirit.
1976: The university’s Homecoming Queen candidates.
1968: During 1968, Miss Nancy Carr was a popular sophomore chosen by the student body to reign as Homecoming Queen. Carr was cheerleader captain and served as an officer in the Baptist Student Union, Civitan, IPTAYettes and Phi Theta Kappa. She also served on the President’s Student Advisory Council. Now Nancy Carr Buntin, the alumna serves on the CSU Foundation’s Board of Trustees.
